My interests are also offbeat. I have a passion for Bluegrass and TRADITIONAL Country Music. Not the cheap sentiments of commercial "country" music, but instead music with real emotional depth. Songs written from the heart and soul not with a payday in mind. I program this type of music for a local radio station.
I'm also a minor league baseball historian. I'm currently working on book projects about minor league history in the midwest. As much as I enjoy seeing a game, I enjoy learning about players and teams from the early 20th century even more.
I also play baseball for a local vintage baseball team.....the Wood County Infirmary Inmates. You might say I'm crazy about baseball. Vintage baseball is baseball played under 1860's rules. Similar to baseball and softball but with some distinct differences. It's also a lot of fun. |
