I'm a happy easy going male, love the outdoors and especially the beach, I have a few photo's here now of different stages of my adult life, they aren't in chronological order.
At the moment I am at a crossroad in life, and have recently left my old job for a new one, while I am getting settled into my new life I don't plan on meeting anyone from this site I am really just looking for people in all parts of the world to talk to, although having said that I wouldn't count out meeting someone if it felt right.
I also write, I have had a few poems published in England, America and Europe, even managed to win an editors choice award for a poem I submitted for a compilation poetry book, (if anyone has actually made it this far the poem is below) hope you enjoy, over the last few years my brother and I have been working on a script, we hope to one day soon, film it and enter into a short film festival. As the poem will only display in straight lines rather than proper format it might be a little hard to read so I have put a fullstop where it should break into a new verse
Sanctuary
Approaching the horizon
Where the sky meets the ground
This is where I have found
My sanctuary my own little town.
It's peaceful and quiet
There's never a sound
I'm here with my thoughts
It's a solitary piece of ground.
There's no cars or horns
No arguments or fights
If I ever feel trapped
It's somewhere to hide.
The place of which I speak
Is not found on a map
There are no directions
And cannot be found.
This piece of ground
Is in my mind
So peaceful and quiet
And can never be found.
