Meeting people is easy; meeting the right one is hard; really hard. What's hard is finding someone that laughs to ones jokes, not just to be polite but because she thinks they're funny; hard is finding someone who puts 'butterflies in your belly' when you spot her walking toward you; hard is finding someone that monopolizes ones thoughts even when she's not around because she's so damned beautiful (both inside and out) that you just can't get her out of your mind. I've been in love and I miss it. It's been some time and I miss the excitement, the absent minded daydreaming and even the unanchored anxiety that goes with it.
That's why I'm putting myself back out there. I'm a DM (of, dare I say, exotic ethnicity), low 50’s; age, not IQ, although I am known to possess a quick wit; if only half of the time, 1.78 metres and about 90 kilo;. I have all of my own hair and most of my own teeth (think rugby, but the caps are fine). While I'm no Mel Gibson, rest assured that no one feeds me thru a slot in the door. As I mentioned earlier, I enjoy the theater, from community to Broadway bound. I really like discovering that little 'out of the way' ethnic restaurant (okay, they're dives) before they become 'oh so popular'. I’m well read and articulate; I can use conundrum in a sentence and have some idea of what e e cummings was up to. I yearn for a NS, S/DF living in Philly or the western/southern 'burbs that is well read, opinionated and can carry on a good conversation. I'm an optimist by nature and require the same of you.
