i am a 54 year young female from Ohio. i love being around water and even better, being around water with somebody I care about. i am a lung cancer survivor of over 2 years now. My profile says a few extra pounds. i gained a little weight after my lung surgery because of me stopping smoking. To tell you the truth, i would rather have some weight on me and be alive, then to be skinny and....well...not here any longer. i also broke my neck in 3 places back in June of 1989. I am able-bodied but have some minor problems from it. i am a survivor. Always have been...
i like playing cards & board games. i love being around water. Any kind of water. i also enjoy boating, bowling, computers, live theater, arts & crafts, flea markets & yard sales, car & truck shows, some concerts, picnics, walks & drives in the country and so many other small things that make me happy.
P.S. i have asked several times and many different ways that you "Please" respond with your picture. You can see me and it's only fair if I could see you as well. i am not a shallow person but this is one of the reasons i would like to see a picture of you. i was corresponding with a person without a picture for a couple of months, only to find out that it was a female. 2 months wasted. i figure if a person can not do this little thing for me, then how can we possibly be? A Good, Honest & Decent Man...He would want to hold my hand in public. Someone who would sing to me even if they thought they couldn't sing. He would love for me to sleep on his chest. A man who would stand up for me. I want someone who would call me just to say hi. Someone who would make fun of me as long as it wasn't hurtful things, just to get me to laugh. He would be able to tell his friends about me with a smile on his face. He would never be afraid of saying "I Love You" when he finally meant it or in front of his friends. I want a man who would kiss me at that magical midnight moment on New Years Eve and stay up sometimes and count stars with me. Somebody who would stay home with me once in a while on a Friday night , just to help me make dinner and watch a movie all cuddled up under the same blanket. Someone who would tell me I'm beautiful once in a while. Who would make me laugh like no one else could. But mostly, I want someone who would become my Best Friend and would never break my heart.
He would have to be somebody who would treat me like a lady and make me their number one. He would have to be trustworthy and honest. He would have to believe in open communication. It doesn't take much to make me happy. The little things in life are what's important. I just want a nice, honest man in my life. No cheaters or liars and please do not reply if you are not serious. Life passes us by too quickly as it is. I want somebody who wants to take the ride through life with me. A man who wants to take my hand and enjoy the journey. Lifes short journey can be somebodys biggest pleasure.
