I love to cook and am especially fond of Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Mexican, and southern/southwestern American foods. I read cookbooks (have about 800), suspense/thriller/mystery novels (John D. MacDonald, Elmore Leonard, Nelson DeMille, Rex Stout), and books on science and mathematics. I like being at home. When I do go out I like to go the the grocery store, the book store, the art museum, or a classical music performance. I like to go fishing, and I particularly enjoy a good, competitive game of Scrabble. Occasional travel by land is fine, but my wanderlust has already been largely satisfied. I am tired of living in cities and am looking for a place in the country where I can live in peace and quiet and privacy and can raise most of my own food. |
