I retired after 24 years from a career that I honestly didn't think that I would retire from, being a professional soldier. I swore up and down that I would stop being a soldier only if I was carried out in a body bag. But that didn't happen because the Army had a mandatory retirement in 1997 depending on the rank you are. Reality does suck at times. So I took my management skills learned through the years and went to work for Coca-Cola running their warehouse as a manager for a little over two years. It was a great job, with a great company. Then divorce happened. Got custody of my three daughters and decided to move to Texas from Oklahoma. Started to work for the Army as a contractor for the Army testing command. Work on that contract for almost 7 years now. So ladies I am fully employed!
After being divorced for little over 9 years & I'm looking forward to dating again! It's time to make friendships; hopefully if all works out maybe we could have a one on one relationship. A smile, some laugher & good conversation would be a plus! I'm a regular kind of guy, a man next door type, who likes to tease a little, smile a lot & just want to have some fun! I served this great land for 24 years in the U.S Army, successfully & achieved the rank of Master Sergeant... retired in '97. I'm well traveled from my service in the Army. I am well adjusted from my years in service with no baggage.
