| my idea of a great date: |
| One that would begin in an upscale swanky restaurant; candlelight, snooty waiter, overpriced cuisine, the whole nine yards. When suddenly, the snooty waiter falls upon the table with a knife in his back. With his last breath he bequeaths a napkin with a map drawn on it. The two of us tip the waiter and leave the restaurant only to find that the kitchen staff is actually a band of murderous cut-throats that are after the napkin. A mind-numbing car chase ensues (of course, the two of us would be riding horses because horses are more romantic) that takes us careening into the jungle that is somehow near the city and to the site of an ancient tomb that the murderous band of kitchen-type people cannot get to because their car is bogged down in the swamp (the horses came in handy after all). In the tomb we find an unrealistically sized gem that we sell for money that we use to get married and invest in our own TV sit-com. That would be a pretty good first date. |
