What a long strange trip it's been... Hello my name is gldneagl, most places... Have gold pan, (and GPS,) will travel.
I'm a Sagittarius, born in the chinese year of the Horse, I'd have a horse ranch somewhere if I had been left to my own devices, and may still.
My names mean straight-forward and braveheart but I'm laid-back and mellow. Before I reached 40, my father said I would have a 40" waist, I said, NOT! So at 52, I still wear the same size Levi's, shirts, and boots I wore in high school. Still fit and trim (I can pinch an inch... maybe a couple right now). I'm a well-groomed, Long-haired, bearded, spiritually-centered (Christian), mountain-man-type guy in a much more modern world. Some still say hippie while others say cowboy when I have my one of my Miller Bros hats on. I clean up real well for the city, but I love the mountains, animals, horses, gold mining, the beach and rivers. I like to think I'm well balanced as well as well endowed, intellectually, and otherwise. I have big hands to hold you and a huge heart to love you and I am known for being able operate out of both halves of my brain (you know that right-brain left-brain stuff). I'm intelligent, yet very intuitive and sensitive, and I have a healthy rein on my emotions. I'm still looking for the True Romance of my life. I am a 5th generation Oregonian from Portland originally, then I spent 13 and a half years on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound of WA. Most of my family and friends are still in Oregon. | They live in South Texas where their Mom raised them after they were abducted by her in 1994. I spent Father's Day last year with them, and they've made me proud of the time we spent when they were young and I was their "Mr. Mom". They called it, the time of their lives. Two are in university at Kingsville, and my youngest has started a band production outfit in Austin, TX. They are all musicians of one type or another. |

At the moment, I am building an Internet Services company, doing contract work on the side, starting on my first book, singing and songwriting... and working for IBM during the day at State of Texas Agenices
In Dec 2000 I passed five certification exams in five days, 3 on one day. I got started by earning my Microsoft Certified Professional certification, A+, iNet+, Network+, CIW Associate, and a bunch of BrainBench certifications in twenty days, including three Master ratings. As I said, that just got me started. For a while I was trying to earn a world record from Guinness World Records, but they decided that it wasn't notorious enough to start a new category for. I now have a total of 455 certifications, and 65 Master certifications. I'm still building my occupation as an Internet Online Service Owner, and I can do what I do from anywhere I have a fast connection, which was part of my plan from the start. This has been a really lucky time for my career, but I really like exploring and prospecting and being out in the wild a lot more... and much prefer being at home, but mainly when there's someone to come home to. |
