I patiently await my empty nest. Two down and one to go. It's not that I don't love my kids... I love them to death - it's just time to be me again, being a mom for 27 years has worn me out.
I have learned that I am not compatible with men who have small children. I think great dads are wonderful, just not for me in a relationship. Call me selfish or what have you, I've already done my time in the parenthood arena and have passed that stage in life, would prefer someone who has also either passed that stage, or never had kids and doesn't want them. |
