Don't want a partner. I have always prefered animals to people... animals may crap on your floor, but they don't crap on YOU. I tried the "husband" thing twice, and a few "serious" boyfriends. Until recently, I was gung ho about finding my soul mate. However, after a good deal of logical reflection, it seems that no one is capable of being genuinely honest. Because of this, my reaction to people (men AND women) now consists of trying to figure out what the "agenda" is. This makes having relationships pointless.
All in all I have too many projects on my plate right now, and going through the motions trying to have another useless and unworkable relationship just eats up valuable time.
Let's repeat this ONE MORE TIME: Not using this site to meet men (or women) -- strictly using the forums to entertain myself.

Have been a consultant for 32 yars in the IT industry. I hate it, but I'm good at it. My main work interests revolve around turning chaos into order. As long as I can do this, I'll never retire because it amuses me.

I used to be interested in males that were in their low to late 40s. Everyone older than that seemed to have a low sex drive, or interest without functionality. The other criteria were very very bright (and preferably well educated) and honest, with an outstanding sense of humor.
