Someone once said that the greatest human need is to have someone who worries if you don’t come home at night … maybe that’s the underlying motivation of why I make a stab at connecting from time to time … but the other pieces that go along with it never seem to be worth it.
Romantic entanglements tend to distract me from the reality of day to day life, and when I look back, they’ve all turned out to be bitter disappointments.
