I grew up "back east" as they say, but have had the privilege to live and travel to a few places around the world. Having had the opportunity and privilege to live overseas, experiencing life and the world to the best of my ability has given me some interesting insight to people. No matter where in the world you go, we are the same but strikingly different. I enjoy meeting & talking to new people, finding out about them, how they grew up, what makes them tick. Hopefully through that they can also find out about me, & learn something from my experiences.

My career recently brought me to Northern New Mexico, though having lived in the southwest the last four years; it is still a learning experience with the local customs and quirks. Finding those places that speak to me, that feel like home. The vegetation and topography feel so familiar, similar to 'home' (as in where I grew up). It is nice to hear the birds again, hear the rain and thunder waking me up at 4am.
In my own way, I am making a difference in this world while growing personally and professionally. While exploring this new town & state that I am calling home. Attempting to determine the big deal regarding red & green sauce in these parts; while also questioning these things the locals call enchiladas. |
