I'm creative, passionate, supremely weird, a bit of a spin doctor and bullshit artist when I want to be, something of a modern day miss Malaprop, ditzy, intelligent, heavily empathic and more and more comfortable with myself as time goes on.
On top of all of this, I'm hugely spiritual in the way that I read tarot cards and will talk about such things as "the energy of a place" or "reading someone." I was actually raised more intellectually than anything, but have chosen to cultivate faith in higher selves, souls, astral goings-on and a general collective consciousness based around the idea that underneath everything, all emotions come back down to love.
This is not to say that I can't maneuver my way around an intellectual conversation-- I'll just lose interest in it quickly if the other people involved are taking themselves too seriously. I don't see this attitude as naive and am not interested in those who do.
Everything comes down to balance (between reverence and irreverence, passion and responsibility, grilled chicken and crispy) and I constantly seek that in myself and in my life.
So call me naive, call me a dreamer or just call me a chump, but I believe that I'm going to have the feelings I have when I have them, so I might as well let myself. When I find someone who I think is interesting and cute with many similar interests and an appealing sense of humor, I'm going to develop a crush and then pursue him for a chance to get to know him better, regardless of the fact that I might come out looking like an idiot.
