| Don't really know – married a long time (together 31 years) - previously, never considered women as potential partners (happily married). Only vague generalities for a partner – which would include the subset of normal qualities most of us desire in a friend. I value intellect (not necessarily formal ed. – an insatiable quest for knowledge and understanding coupled with the ability to synthesis and communicate) and character (independent, open-minded, sanctity of a pair bond, family pre-eminence --- and those listed above etc etc). Friends past and present are all extroverts (on the extreme edge of the bell curve) – not sure if it’s the opposites attract ‘thing’ or that two of a more independent nature just never connect. I guess the ultimate desire is to find someone to love and to be loved – to share a life. |
