| I am a widow of 6 years now and would like to meet someone to share life with, who likes animals.....no, someone who LOVES animals ! I have been called attractive and in my younger days, beautiful, but, as we all know, everything changes with age. I'm 5' 9" and have a rather atheletic build. I still "think young" & like to do fun things. I am a retired teacher of 27 years. My interests are numerous and I'm always open to new ones. I like sports, the beach, the outdoors, nature, animals, especially dogs, horses & wildlife. I like camping, especially at the beach, walks in the woods, or on the beach. I like music from "oldies" & soft rock & pop to classical. I like cruising Ocean Blvd. @ Myrtle listening to Elvis music. I like going to concerts. I like a room at the beach overlooking the ocean to just sit at night & listen to the waves coming in. I like slow dancing & the "shag". I like playing the organ & drawing, when I have time. I like being involved in a church, although I am not right now. I like quiet evenings at home watching TV, & in the wintertime, in front of a good fire. I like family cookouts, eating out, or just cooking at home. I like flea markets, ACC Basketball( especially UNC basketball), traveling occasionally, and lots of other things. Originally from NC, I am now living out in the country in SC & have lots of animals. I enjoy country living. I consider myself to be honest, independent, fairly intelligent & sincere. I would like to meet someone with similar qualities, who loves animals, as I do. | I have two grown boys with families of their own. The oldest is about an hour away, but my youngest son & his family live nextdoor. I have 5 grandchildren, ages newborn, 2 6 8 & 9, 2 girls & 3 boys. We all get together on holidays and we talk by phone often, but they have their own lives. I enjoy my grandchildren. 2 of them live next door & I see the other 3 often. |

The man I would like to meet would be trustworthy and first,we would become good friends;after that,either the spark is there, or it isn't. At the worst,we've both made a new friend. I would like to meet a kindhearted,gentle man who cares about others;a man who shares some of my interests;a man who is emotionally stable and mature,well-educated, and a man who is comfortable in a coat and tie, or jeans; a man who enjoys the finer things in life,but also country living and animals;a man who has strong convictions,but also listens to and respects another point of view;a man who has a positive outlook on life, and loves life and family and has his priorities straight and last,but not least,a man who is fun to be with and knows the meaning of love. My search seems endless, but I still believe that there is a man out there somewhere who still has old-fashioned values that would be compatable with me, and that would enjoy growing old with me and for that man, I have unlimited , unconditional love for him, and only him.
