I am a genuine person, not perfect, but with many good qualities that hopefully offset those that I'm still working on. I'm sort of a 1950s type of woman, the home is really the center of my world. Things I enjoy are long conversations, sight-seeing, museums, theaters, parks or being in contact with nature, reading non-fiction, listening to most types of music (EXCEPT country, raggae or rap), watching movies like comedies, romance, sci-fi, fantasy and an occasional drama or action. I also like educational documentaries. I'm NOT into sports but I used to like baseball so I guess I could still enjoy a game sometime.

My 25y.o. son is a Computer Network Administrator and my 23 y.o. a supervisor at the call center of the local power company, she's also studying psycology. I've raised them mostly by myself so I'm very proud of the fact that they turned out to be very nice young people. :-)
We also have 2 cats that you could say are really part of the family. I used to not be a "cat person" but since I do like animals and my daughter wanted a cat I just "went with the flow". The 2nd one appeared in our yard one day, she was so little and cute I couldn't just leave her out there! |
