I am first and foremost, a Christian. My life is God-centered. I do my best to be Christ-like in everything I do. As you can imagine, being the limited human being that I am, I sometimes fail miserably.
Being the techie that I am, I enjoy figuring things out and solving technical issues for people. It's very rewarding to make someone smile when they can once again get back to what they were doing before their computer or network gave them an unexpected delay. It also feels very nice to be appreciated.
I love learning and excelling in anything that I apply myself to. I am a hard working, honest (sometimes brutally honest), affectionate guy. I enjoy eating out and having an occasional drink or maybe a good glass of wine with dinner. I also enjoy living a very healthy lifestyle.
Although I try not to judge people, a few characteristics certainly have a way of turning me off, dishonesty in particular. It grieves me to see people have no regard for people other than themselves.
Although I wouldn't classify myself as an avid environmentalist, I certainly believe that we should be good stewards of the earth. I believe that we can all make the earth a better place without necessarily having to give up all modern amenities.

I have over twelve years of experience in the Structured Cabling industry. I worked for several companies and moved my way up from installer to various levels of management, mostly Project Management. I was also self-employed for many of those years.
I now am blessed to be working as a Network Engineer for a local IT company that sells products and services with respect to Microsoft Server systems and computer networks. I am grateful for God's provision. My boss is a wonderful man who truly cares about his employees. There is much opportunity for growth in this company, as it relates to learning and becoming more valuable. The company rewards progress and also has a bonus plan based on the amount of billable labor done by me, in addition to a wonderful benefits package.
Just as the word of God says, as is written in the book of Ephesians, I do my work for the Lord first, not for man. Even before I was a Christian I believed that you should always do your best. I've always believed in doing the work as if it were my own company that I was doing it for.
I also hope that the light of the Lord may shine through me at work and reflect on others around me, so that others may see a glimpse of the Kingdom here and now. I look forward to share the Gospel with anyone who will listen and receive it.
