| I'm looking for an strikingly smart, uniquely funny, sexy & cuddly, accomplished man who can make me laugh AND make me think. I’m a Libertarian who’s pro-choice on everything (drugs, guns, abortion, comb-overs). I don’t approve of drugs, abortions or comb-overs—but I think everyone has the right to do whatever they want with their own life and hairstyle. Studying history really makes me appreciate secular humanism, modern medicine & women’s rights. (But I admit it’s romantic when a man opens doors for me.) I’ve been told I’m very rational “for a woman” (I think that was a compliment??) I admire the work of Ayn Rand, Carl Sagan, Julian Jaynes, Byron Katie, and Wayne Dyer. I've survived tragedy...and a good life really is the best revenge. What would make life even better is a partner to share it with. This is just a sliver of what I'm about. I own a marketing and public relations consulting business. I really enjoy what I do, but it does tend to eat my life if I'm not careful. I'm really great at marketing and PR, not as great at the nuts and bolts of running a company. I'm very open to the idea of finding a business partner in addition to a love partner. I like the idea of running a successful business with my sweetie.

My free time is extremely limited, so I don't even go out with someone unless I've done a thorough search for dating deal-killers first. That's what MyHeroQuestdotcom is all about...finding the deal-killers before I fall for somebody who's really not a match. (Yes, it may sound cold and calculating, but I have found random dating to be a complete waste of my precious free time.)
I date like I do all things...in a purposeful, directed manner. So in my world, there's no point to going out with someone who isn't a match on all levels. Because if I'm out on a date with someone who's a 50% match, that means I don't have that time available for somebody who's a 90% match. Casual dating has no appeal for me...I'm pretty shy and I find it stressful to meet new people. But, once we've vetted each other, I like a date where it's possible to talk intelligently and hear each other. A coffee date or lunch is fine for a first date. The first date is usually about sussing out chemistry and attraction, and checking for congruence with what the person has said about himself. Anything fun that happens is gravy. ;) And yeah, I know I come off as Nerd Girl, but that's who I am. :) |

Are you smart, funny, loving, sexy and delicious, kind, healthy, and mature, yet playful? (Dang, I’m lucky you’re still single!)
I'm looking for a needle in 10,000 haystacks. I get that. And I'm okay with it. My ideal partner is close to my age (42), very intelligent, successful, well-read, self-aware, responsible, funny...he's a man of integrity who has worked to create a great life for himself. He's confident enough to take risks (like learning to dance.) He's emotionally mature but a kid at heart. Like me, he's a libertarian, probably non-religious...or at least a fellow Pastafarian. He's sensually openminded and enjoys creative roleplaying (maybe some days I'm the pirate, some days I'm the wench...arrrgh!) If I'm very lucky, he'll be a great dancer. Or at least, he'll enjoy dancing as much as I do. I'm very creative and artistic...it would be great to share that. And an appreciation of sci-fi and fantasy would help a lot. Personality is far more important to me than looks, but my preference is for fair hair and complexion, skinny to medium build, and at least 5'10" or taller. He also MUST be available on all levels (please don't even think about contacting me if you're married) and looking to co-create and amazing relationship.
