I laugh a lot and the kids I work with tell me I'm funny (not sure if that's a good thing or not). Okay, adults say that too but sometimes I'm not trying to be! I am constantly reading romance , paranormal, scifi, and some classics so I feel I'm learning something. If it doesn't have a happy ending I don't read it which means I cheat sometimes before I buy them. Hey, if I want to hear sad stuff I can watch the news or talk to folks I know.
I am generally a happy person. Not prozac happy, much, but just "hey isn't it a great day" kind of happy.
I love all kinds of music from Toby Keith , to Bond, to Seeger, to Bach. I sing often and fairly well, at least I think so!.
My fave movies are Independence Day,James Bond movies (Sean Connery ones of course) Musicals and old classics (like Bogey&Bacall or Tracy&Hepburn). I adore old cartoons.
I love to go outside and just look at the mountains (I actually moved to Alaska because I like the mountains) and sometimes just take a stroll in the woods/park. I have been told that it is called hiking but I like my description better. As much as I like the mountains I am equally found of the beach. I love to swim or just lay around and enjoy the beauty of the water.

My vocation, calling, is Storytelling and Music programs primarily for children, although I have worked with adults and seniors.
When I am not working at storytelling , I work with children in a variety of capacities and settings.
