I am a retired RN and a mother of four lovely daughters. I also have three adorable grandsons and two beautiful granddaughters. We are a tight-knit family and along with my mother, all live within three neighboring towns. I like to camp, fish, travel, walk through the woods or along the shore, go to the movies, shop used book stores and antique stores, and play on the computer. My favorite places are Ontario, Canada, Lake Tahoe, Sedona and the beach...anywhere near a body of water. I have been to quite a few Matchdoctor gatherings in different states, so I have met a lot of people from this site. I have made some of the bestest real-life friends here.
To be honest, I absolutely hate housework. Life is too short for such mundane activities. I don't cook much because I don't think about eating, but I am a good cook when the need arises. I love to read in bed, but I wouldn't mind having a man around to make me put the book down once in awhile, or better yet; distract me until the book falls out of my hands. I love animals, children, the elderly and God's great wilderness. And laughter....it's good for the soul. :)
