I am a retired RN and a mother of four lovely daughters. I also have two adorable grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter, with another grandson on the way. We are a tight-knit family and along with my mother, all live within three neighboring towns. I like to camp, fish, travel, walk through the woods or along the shore, go to the movies, shop used book stores and antique stores, and play on the computer. My favorite places are Ontario, Canada, Lake Tahoe, Sedona and the beach...anywhere along the coast. I have been to quite a few Matchdoctor gatherings in different states, so I have met a lot of people from this site. I have made some of the bestest real-life friends here.
To be honest, I absolutely hate housework. Life is too short for such mundane activities. I don't cook much because I don't think about eating, but I am a good cook when the need arises. I play music all the time, sing terribly to it, and dance in the kitchen. I am a fanatic when it comes to American Idol, but otherwise, I don't watch much TV. A few movies a month through NetFlix works for me. I love to read in bed, but I wouldn't mind having a man around to make me put the book down once in awhile, or better yet; distract me until the book falls out of my hands. I love animals, children, the elderly and God's great wilderness. And laughter....it's good for the soul. :)
