I am a writer/counselor. I thoroughly enjoy my work but my work doesn't consume all of my time at all and I don't live to work - I work to live. Our eyes meet for the first time as we say hello. We gaze into each other's eyes and recognize there is magic - that sublime feeling one gets so rarely but when it's there, you know this is the beginning of something wonderful. I get into his car and we continue on to dinner at a quiet restaurant where we talk and get to know each other better. The conversation flows easily and we feel as though we've known each other for longer than one day. We end the date with a hug and a kiss with the promise of many more to come.
