I'm here for friendship only. I get mail from such seemingly nice men but after ten years, (yep that's not a typo)! I'm pretty much stuck in my single status. Romance makes me cringe. Besides I'm gettin' old now, my profile photo was taken at least a couple of years ago. Not intending to be dishonest but I rarely have my pic taken and simply haven't updated it. :-)
My intention is to travel at some point in the not too distant future, to where I haven't decided yet, somewhere warm, but it would be nice to meet up with people. Traveling alone sucks, and I've done it often but it IS nice to have friends (albeit internet friends) at the destination point. I've met some wonderful REAL people by doing this.
With my eighteen year old daughter having recently flown the nest, I'm now a free spirit, within the confines of finances of course, just like everybody else. My three dogs provide companionship and comfort but sometimes I need people!
