Hi. Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Donald and I live in San Diego, California. To be exact, in the Point Loma area near the ocean. I'm a former U.S. Naval officer and currently a Certified Financial Planner. I was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. During my Navy days, one of my assignments was being the Officer in Charge of recruiting for Southern California, stationed at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where I received my MBA Degree in Finance.
I have many interests, with International and Domestic Travelling my favorite, along with golfing. Until 3 years ago, I was doing volunteer work with indigent children in the Philippines and preparing the foundation's annual financial statements. I really enjoyed it and would like to do it again in the future for 2-3 months a year. I have also travelled all over Asia and to a few countries in Europe. By the way, my three main personality traits are being affable, humorous and kind..
I'm not going to sugar coat it. Two years ago my beloved Mom passed away and my darling daughter Jennifer was killed in a automobile accident. I was depressed for quite a while and gained over 100 pounds in about a year. My physical and mental health are now fine, but I'm still obese.
