I absolutely LOVE the St. Louis Cardinals and watching baseball - either on tv or live! I enjoy baseball from the high school level through professional level. I am learning the game over the last 6 - 7 years, and will never get tired of it! Cardinals baseball is part of my family heritage, I can remember watching the Cardinals at the World Series on a little black and white snowy picture tube in my parents living room, the uncles & cousins gathered 'round.
It's an emotion filled, romantic sport! I don't know why MORE women aren't in love with it! ;-) This is just one of my expressions of passion -
I am tired of relationships with men who SAY they want just exactly what I have to offer - until we're like a year into it and the truth REALLY is that they are just looking to move from one semi-commitment to another.....If you are just looking for a momentary "high" - just keep on moving. A respectful, honest, God loving man. Someone looking for the one who will believe in them and need their strength - but wants her to have plenty of her OWN strength and passion to lend THEM, as well.
Is there anyone else out there who knows that truly GREAT love - like, the love of your LIFE - can be found with the most ordinary person in the world?? That it can come in a "plain" package? Wonderful, awesome, inspiring, ROMANTIC, thrilling, exciting - with someone who wears slippers to keep their feet warm, goes to work every day 5 days a week - comes home and wants supper and to watch a game and have a beer before bed - who thinks it's funny to fart when they have you trapped under the blankets - who gets hemorrhoids, and sweats when they work hard outdoors??
Everyone talks about wanting someone "REAL" and - "no GAME players" - but does anyone think that those things come in REAL packages and not in "fantasy" ones???

I want somebody who wants ME, imperfect as I am! - and who will let me love THEM in all their imperfections. Someone who will stop looking for that elusive something that probably doesn't even exist ANYWAY! and just be happy with the great person they HAVE.
I have experienced GREAT love with just a regular ole ordinary guy, so I know it's VERY possible! The elusive thing I keep looking for is to find that kind of love again - with some regular ole joe ;-) |
