Retired Yakuza Soldier seeks pen pals and friends
about myself:
If you ever saw the movie "Pulp Fiction" then you remember the "Cleaner" - Yep... that's what I do. I clean up other folks messes. It's good work if you don't mind the splatter and occasional horrifying sight. The real problem is the calls at all hours. Sometimes I just want to turn off the pager and relax... You know what I mean?

Still, theres nothing like good honest work to round out a person I say... Before this job came along, I was a Yakuza soldier and was damned good at it until the unfortunate run-in with an opponent's sword one fateful night. If it hadn't been for my underworld insurance plan, I would have never made it back home. My clan boss was *really* understanding and worked out the Cleaner gig back here in Shingle Springs and life has been really good here in semi-retirement. I do love travel and drive my little Mustang around with 409 cleaner to make the world a better place ;>) I do have a good sense of humor and love classic movies like Young Frankenstein, The Holy Grail, etc... Read quite a bit, and also love walking and camping as well as sword-fighting unholy creatures and old enemies in the forest...

What I'm looking for in a woman: Honesty and no head games. Love is right up there. Plus just plain being nice to one-another and friendly plus just plain considerate of one another. And if you can keep up and want to go on adventures into the unknown, I promise it won't be boring. Bring the 409 cleaner too and you can join me in my work - LOL.

Looking for uncomplicated and fun relationships. I'm not exactly looking for instant marriage and like doing trips to the ocean, camping, simple days out on the town, and just spending time together just because! I am very sentimental and appreciate the small things... You know... the occasional sentimental hit job or Yakuza wedding (I admit it, I shed a tear at those and the tea ceremonies just ROCK!).

about my work:
I'm also a paranormal investigator and operate my own research team here in Shingle Springs. We love going out on cases in and around the Placerville area all the way out to Nevada. I've hunted aboard U.S.S. Hornet, Queen Mary and have had just about every experience you can imagine on my various hunts/cases. I've been at it several years and love doing the work.

I also run a radio show on BlogTalkRadio.Com every Friday night (In Feb 2010, I'm, moving it to Sunday nights) at 8:00pm (Ghost-Rider Paranormal Radio). The range of subjects run the gamut from the paranormal, science fiction, mystical and metaphysical parts of life to authors writing fictional stories about ghosts and spirits to technical discussions about the subjects of paranormal investigation and spiritual matters. I've had some fairly famous guests on and have met everyone from Chip Coffey to members of TAPS and more in my travels.

You know... this isn't for everyone. I enjoy it greatly and it does seem to intrigue you ladies but then again, it's not an everyday thing and I suppose that being different does have its drawbacks - I suppose by my age you are supposed to be settled down and hanging out at golf courses drinking Mai Tais or oggling little 20 year olds that would give you a heart attack if they got a-hold of you but I never could follow that model of life so it's just fate working and perhaps, if I'm lucky, I'll frustrate the hell out of the conventional people.

God had another mission for me to chase the unknown, not follow the standard mold and to be true to myself- I'm looking for a woman equally as unique and reasonably close to my age bracket and knows who Boston and Foreigner are and who see 1977 as a year we lived through rather than a geologic era - LOL...

Interest in Music - All sorts - Love movie themes and anything spooky sounding of course. Scooby-snack anyone?

my idea of a great date:
Something easy-going where it provides each person with a possible escape route in case things go south in a hurry... ;>) Of course, if you have fighting skills with swords, then how about we battle it out in the forest?

In all seriousness, I'd take her out for a simple movie and a nice dinner/lunch... I'd be a gentleman and put her at ease while just being myself and teasing her plus taking a ribbing myself. That, or perhaps an easy sky-diving experience for two with us fighting for just one parachute on the way down *just* to add spice to things I always say...

First date? Coffee, meet in a bookstore and chat in the public sitting area, movie or just taking in a walk downtown. I'm flexible... The parachute thing IS a great way to bond but not necessary. That, or diving with great white sharks? Danger brings people together more than some ordinary date you know. Somehow, after getting the you-know-what scared out of you, you really get to know the other person. And that is really good.

Not every date goes well, but it just makes sense to take things slow and just be yourself. If she likes you, she likes you. If not, well it was a nice time and your journey goes on! I usually use Ninja skills mixed with Scottish magic to suddenly become invisible during these times and reappear in the damnedest places. The worst was the time I ended up materializing on right in the middle of of a climate conference wearing my "Global Warming is a farce" t-shirt. I now know I can survive anything after that experience (My therapist got me through the nightmares with a lot of TLC and hypnotherapy).
the person I would like to meet:
Um... Let's see - A pulse is a good start, but not necessary. Sense of humor is a must. Sword-fighting skills to cover my six are always a big hit and if you can handle ghost hunting and some travel to the Yakuza weddings, it's a great chance you'll get a shot at hanging out with me now and again ;>)
