A little about me...
I'm 41, single, 2 cats and no kids. Now don't run away yet, I'm not relationship challenged. I've been dating most of my life and I've had a few long-term relationships but although they were right for the moment, they weren't the right one for life. As far as children are concerned, for me I believe in marriage before kids so I don't have any, and at my age I don't want to have any. I wouldn't mind dating someone with kids, though, I do like them.
I've been in insurance for about 18 years now, and while it's not the most interesting job some days I do alright with it. It's not exactly what I had planned as a career as a child, but it turned out I have no musical talent after all, I was too tall to be a jockey by age 12, and that rock star I dreamed would sweep me off of my feet still hasn't materialized.
I'm a sci-fi geek, I like anything to do with Star Wars and Star Trek. Anne Rice and Stephen King are two of my favorite authors, I've read most of their works. I love Monty Python movies and skits, goofy comedies like Caddyshack, Young Frankenstein and the Vacation movies. I love playing pool, hiking, amusement parks, doing almost anything outside.
Most of the time I'm a jean's and t-shirt kind of lady. You won't find me hanging out at the mall or the nail salon, but you might find me on the road, driving through the local mountains, windows down and radio up, enjoying the drive and the ride... |
