Greetings!!! Thank you for taking some time to learn a little bit about me. First of all I have been divorced for 3 1/2 years and my exwife and I are on fine terms. I do not believe in drama, have no use for it, nor a tolerance for it. Life is way to short. I am a dad, a great dad and my daughter is 17. A truly good kid with a heart of gold. She does not care who I date as long as I am happy...ahh, my Pumpkin, love her to death....lol
Ok, what next? Hmm? Ok, I have been at my job for 11 years and have owned my house for 8 so I guess you could say I am as stable as they come. That is one thing i am looking for in a person I date...Are they stable? I do not care if a person is rich or if they ar poor. What I care about is that they have a little order and are in control of their own lives. The second thing I am seeking is sanity. Let's face it, we all have a few issues, maybe it's a little depression or anxiety, maybe it's an extended family member or perhaps stress on the job. Hey, not only is that normal but it makes you human. And all though we all have a little something going on, I am in search of someone who is emotionally mature. Someone who believes in trust, faith and true love. A person who is NOT controlling, manipulative or subject to adverse jealousy. I am a nice down to the earth guy in control of myself and all I seek is the same.
Some would say I am way too in touch with my femminine side...lol I can't help it that I am a good listener and always try to be a problem solver or shoulder to cry on. In the past 4+ years I have learned a lot about dating and a lot about myself. It's kind of funny what you forget when you are with someone for 14 years. I will say that in that time life has slowed down considerably. I am also at a place in life where i know exactly what I am looking for. And what would that be?
I am looking for a woman who has a huge heart. A compassionate woman who can open herself up when something is bringing her down as well as be there to listen when I need to vent. Someone who is not high maintenance nor thinks that she is better than everyone else. I want a woman who is so comfortable with her own beauty she need not waste a minute comparing herself to others. I will not settle for less than a woman who is completely comfortable with her own sexuality and she must put a premium on monogamy. A good drive is also desired. I am not seeking a model or solely arm candy. I am looking for the one I cannot take my eyes off of. I do not care what others think, never have. If she is beautiful to me, well, I am a happy man. Do I have a preferred "type"? Umm, no. I will say this: I am attracted to women who are thin, athletic or of average build only. Short or tall makes no difference to me just as hair color is also a moot point. To me, women are each like a work of art and if you have ever been to a showing or museum, well then you know that you either get the artists meaning or you don't. I am also attracted to women say 10 years older/younger than me.

Now maybe I am oversimplifying this - but i believe finding the right person comes down to 3 things:
1) physical attraction - there has to be a basic physical attraction. Would you date someone that you did not find attractive?
2) mental stimulation - can you hold a conversation together just sitting on the couch with no tv or music playing and fully enjoy the time you are spending?
3) the magic spark - when you are with this person are you happier? Do you feel an unexplainable spark or chemistry? If you have ever felt it then you know what I am talking about - if you haven't, I pray that at least once in your life you find it.
To me, without any one of those 3, what do you have? Nadda
