Update: I'm in a relationship nowadays. So while I am flattered by the interest, I am not the cheating type. =) Always up for meeting good souls, though.
I do not have a huge number of friends, but the ones I have are quality individuals. Regrettably, most of them are scattered across the country -- some across the world. I can be an exercise in dichotomy. Probably the last person to judge one on their "sins" or their past, yet I'm quite keen on picking up selfish, unwise, or dangerous behavior patterns and distancing myself from them. I respect individuality, kindness, confidence without arrogance, and understanding. I'm a laid back person and typically don't respond well to those who are not -- especially those who have an agenda or are pushing their beliefs/goals on me -- sometimes it is THEMSELVES that they are pushing...equal rate of failure there.
Hobbies seem to shift with me. My latest kick has been going on a lot of hikes around the Austin area -- my latest was through the Ford Commons Waterfall Trail, which was great. I do play guitar and sing. I've been known to have a drink or four if I'm in the mood. I used to tinker on cars for fun back in my racing days, but the afore-mentioned automotive woes have turned it into more of a regular burden nowadays!
