I am a serious and intelligent woman but I know how to have fun. I like to go out and have a good time or stay in, talking and relaxing. My sensitive and compassionate nature shines through to all aspects of my life. I am family-oriented and will someday like to start a family. Being considerate and trustworthy is very important to me. Some of my hobbies include watching movies and television, listening to music and becoming Lost in a Good Book. Other things I enjoy are going to festivals, culture events and concerts. I know it sounds like a cliché but I am spiritual but not religious, which means I am not apart of an organized religion. I am not sure that a relationship with someone with a different background (ethnic or cultural) can really work out. I tend to argue a lot and will argue just for the fun of it. I tend to call people out on things, things that don't make sense or are not congruent. I am not a big partier though I do like to go out dancing. I am not outgoing especially in group settings. I prefer smaller groups or one-on-one. I'm a vegetarian, used to be vegan for 7 years. I belong to the green party. I prefer men who are taller than me (I'm 5'8) and with a larger build.
I tend to be messy, I'm not a good housekeeper and hope to someday pay someone to help me with that or have a partner who is good at it and or enjoys it. I do like to cook and am pretty good at it but hate to clean up after. The only chore I don't mind is laundry. My partner must be able to at least tolerate cats, I have 3. I am well on my way to being the crazy cat lady :) I love to cuddle and love hugs. I tend to be extremely giving but expect a lot in return. |

I am seeking someone who is intelligent as well as considerate, funny and family-oriented. This person should be compassionate, thoughtful, honest, and loving. I am looking for a serious committed relationship so you should want the same. The person I'm looking for enjoys a good balance between going out and staying in. Communication is important.
I tend to talk a lot so being a good listener is important although I also do not want someone who doesn't share themselves with me. I don't like secrets. I tend to talk about anything and everything and share all of myself with people, I expect the same. Trust is extremely important. I come with my own trust issues so I'd prefer not to be given reason to doubt your trustworthiness. As I mentioned someone who doesn't mind my messiness would be good, I haven't been successful in changing that so it may be permanent.
