Who am I?
My friends consider me honest, trustworthy, sensitive, kind, worth spending time with, and fun.
I work helping people to make better use of their computers.
I volunteer at a local museum helping with their Oral History Project and with their computer system. Also with posting events on bulletin boards for them and other tasks.
I write poetry, sketch, and draw, I like painting and sculpting. I'm hoping to get some fiction and non-fiction published eventually. I have fun designing web sites.
I like accomplishing things and can enjoy a day painting walls in the house or putting up a curtain rod.
I keep track of things happening in the sciences like astronomy (like the new planets discovered outside our solar system) and physics. I'm interested in what's happening in archaeology and anthropology as well.
I belong to the SCA, a Middle Ages recreation historical society. That involves researching the Middle Ages and looking into how they did things. We then put on events for ourselves like tournaments with men in armour, wars, banquets, and dances. We research costuming, brewing, cooking, woodworking, leather carving, and many other things. We also do demonstrations for schools and other organizations.
I like being around people and especially sharing an evening with one or two of my friends talking about anything and everything. Global or intimate.
I enjoy holding hands and giving and recieving gentle foot and neck massages. Someone's hand on my shoulder gives me a warm sense of belonging.
