I want someone to appreciate me and not be afraid to show it. That doesn't mean that I am materialistic, because I'm not. Show me your appreciation by being honest with me, having integrity and DOING WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO!! You've got to be someone that I can talk to. I know that sounds obvious, but I really think it is important. And admittedly I am a bit of a grammar snob, so if you can type a complete sentence without 10 spelling/grammar errors, that would be a HUGE plus. You should be proud of yourself and what you've accomplished, no matter what that is. You should have a good sense of humor, be kind and warm and be able to just be yourself. You've got to be able to enjoy getting away from the city and heading to the mountains. I'd love to find somone who will be willing to do something crazy like stand in line for three hours with me at the crack of dawn to buy that CD that I just HAVE to have or go play in the water fountain on a hot summer day. And while I really appreciate attention from those of you who are in a different time zone, I really want someone local who can come over on a Friday night after a long week at work. And while age isn't all that important, I don't think I would be happy with anyone who is more likely to date my mom. Having your own place and form of transportation (not including RTD) also scores tons of points. I don't want to be anyone's taxi service. However, with that said, I do also believe that love can be found in the most unlikely of places. Sometimes you just have to open your eyes and your heart. Give things (and people) chances that you might not ordinarily. Look past that first layer and see what lies beyond. You just might be surprised at what you see when you really look.
