well....I am most passionate about serving God and being the Godly woman, worker, and eventually wife and mother he is calling me to be. I am passionate about serving others, which my pre-college life was devoted to. I'm also passionate about music and art, and love to compose songs and poetry. One of my great individual passions is dance. I've been doing liturgical dance since kindergarden, swing dance for 6 years, and ballroom for at least five years. :) Latin for 6 years, and fusion belly dance mostly privately, but maybe one day I'll gather enough time to try it publicly.
Import to me is... Mutuality...mutual faith, mutual interests, mutual ambition, mutual goals, ect. I'll know I'm truly in love if the person is my best friend and I can do anything with them and just enjoy each other. Even chores or manual labor can be enjoyable if with the right person. Finding someone that is interested in ballroom dance and camping and gaming is a rare feat, but as long as I can find someone with an overlap in interests, and maybe some different interests to mix things up, then I'd be excited to have a new friend. |

I am a student at UAH in Huntsville, I live on campus and have a great 5 minute commute to work... I do administrative work in the office of Contracts and Grants Accounting. I take care of filing, organizing, data entry, journal entries, answering phones, receiving general email and sending it to accountants, and generally whatever is top priority that my boss can't juggle. I am not a gopher though, thank goodness, and I have yet to fix one cup of coffee.
I place a good deal of importance on work. I'm in the sociology program at UAH and I plan on continuing to grad school and bigger and better things. Education is so important to me, especially since I am the second generation to go to college on my mom's side. My grandparents grew up during the Great Depression, and my mother put herself through college, where she also met my father.
I take a lot of pride in the work I do. I've worked part-time food jobs since I was old enough, and broke out into some internships and temp jobs at the end of highschool. In college, I worked a bit of food and cashier type jobs, and then worked for MWR on the Arsenal as a clerk.
I am passionate about one day working either as a social worker or sociologist somewhere, we'll just see where my degree classes take me!
I started college at Samford University with a full tuition scholarship at barely 17 years old. I was offered over 100,000 in scholarships my senior year. I came home, switched my major, and now I'm having to work a lot harder. But in the end, I believe I'll be happier. |
