My motto might be "A rolling stone gathers no moss." I am the eternally youthful child, no matter what my chronological age might be. I have a razor-sharp wit that can have me verbally dueling with the very best of opponents, who moments later are my best of friends. No matter how crazy my life might tend to be at times, I do my best to never forget to take time to smell the flowers.
I believe personality goes a long way. I'm very easygoing, I have a friendly personality. I'm curious, talkative, versatile & mentally active. I'm also a highly sensitive communicator who prefers to work around differences of opinion rather than engaging in head-on confrontation. I'm looking for a wholesome, fun-loving & healthy long-term relationship. It seems the first question men ask me is am I over my ex? The answer is hands down, yes. When my marriage ended I felt like I descend into periods of darkness only to return again stronger than ever.

| Right now, my home is a bit like the Walton's (minus the farm). I've been blessed in this lifetime with 5 children. The oldest of my children moved back home while she is in college, with her she brought her fiance' & their children. They have blessed me with the chance to get to know my grandchildren on a daily basis and I'm loving every minute of this time we have together. My oldest son, his fiance and their children come to visit us often. My remaining 3 sons also live at home, the youngest being 14yrs. Our lifestyle is heart-warming. My children & grandchildren are the joy and center of my life. Every day they all bring me more happiness & laughter than any parent/grandparent could ever dream of. In our home, one doesn't need cable television, we have it all: Comedy, drama, mystery and more! I do wish say that my children are not an option we are a package deal, so don't expect me to move our of state and leave them all behind, it just will not happen. We are very family orientated and we cherish our lifestyle, some say we should have our own reality show. The times we are living in have brought to our family many new and challenging moments. This is a new era and my children and I have decided to teach the younger children/grandchildren that during tough times, strong families pull together and support one another in both good times and the hard times and old time family traditions are warm hearted bests. We prefer homemade cookies fresh out of the oven rather than prepackaged ones and gifts from the heart. Zoo outings are a blast and children dancing and playing in the rain are the norm. We do drink water from the garden hose and we do observe late night and camping in the back yard. I'm blessed, my children are strong and their hearts are in the right place...I'm so proud of each and everyone of them! |

| I work for a large Drug/Retail chain. The position I hold is as a Certified Photo Specialist but my position entails so much more. I love taking pictures and developing the film and digital media my customers bring to our lab. I love the fact that I am making a difference in the lives of those I meet and work with. My work is very rewarding and very trying in the same breath. I feel blessed with the opportunities it provides me in my daily life. The only thing that I do not like about my position is dealing with those that are not honest and forth standing. Though I do spend my share of hours working on a full time basis, I also believe that it is important to work at living and not to live at work as there are no pockets in a burial shroud and you cannot take ones fortune with them to the grave. So I choose to live life to it's fullest and as best that I can, even if I will never make that golden almighty dollar. Work is work, I do enjoy my daily grind....But there is no place like home to share my life, with my family. |

Humble, smart, fun and romantic, sensitive and gentle, and above all, supportive, protective and secure in who he is and what drives him. I want him to look in my eyes and see "me" and tell me I'm beautiful and that I complete him. I want a man who is vulnerable enough to cry when he's hurting, who will introduce me to his mother with a smile on his face, who loves children and animals, and who is willing to change diapers and wash dishes and do it all without me having to ask.
Okay, I know expecting that kind of love -- that perfection -- from a man is unrealistic, because I know a man's love isn't like that (one can always hope, right?)
Seriously, if you are reading this thinking "can I get her into bed?" The answer is no. If you are looking for an affair, pass me by. If the grass still looks greener on the other side of the fence, I'm not interested.
I am interested in the man that knows that protection isn't just about using brute, physical force. Someone who is driven, has dreams & goals and doesn't believe that the pyramid system will get him there. A man who knows how to take care of his woman and those in his family. Children will not scare him and teens will become a challenge he will embrace and mentor to help guide them into adulthood. A man who embraces family traditions, crazy times and can man a BBQ. A man who can cook and bake is sexy as all hell. Extra points if he likes to garden. Bonus points if he loves animals.
He must be compassionate, understanding and flexible. I'll add more later....
