I find myself wanting to go back to being more fun and more active and wanting someone to do things with, instead of working so much. Recently, I started my own company so I'm, at least, working longer than normal hours for someone I like and respect! So that's a good thing... and I can tell my boss that I'm taking a day off to go catch a movie or go do something for someone else that might make them happy and he'll know I deserve it.

I'm not a dinner and a movie kind of guy unless we have been dating for a while and as long as that's ALL we do. I find it too unoriginal and too boring. That's not me, as I like to be more creative and active, so if that's what you want... you should find some boring guy.
For a first date, after we've met face-to-face over coffee, tea or a bucket of golf balls at a driving range or something casual, assuming we talked, got to know each other and mutually agreed we'd like to try going out... All that considered, I would think about what it is that you like to do and incorporate it into something unconventional and fun where there's little pressure and lots of opportunities to have fun. Such as: 1.) You like to eat, maybe take a cooking class or invite you over to cook dinner after we go wine tasting in the Hill Country and find a great bottle of wine for dinner - then we can cook the right meal to go along with it. 2.) You like to laugh, we go out to a piano bar where everyone sings (though I have a horrible voice that clears rooms) and then go to a comedy club for a couple drinks and then to a light, late dinner and a walk where we talk about it. 3.) You like to be active? We can either go hit a bucket of golf balls, or baseballs/softballs at a batting cage OR go find some people to play paintball at one of the area war zones and test your aim; OR go to a firing range and shoot guns and see how good a shot you really are and how worried I should be should you not enjoy our date! Then, if you're a good shot especially, I beg for forgiveness and ask you to give me a second chance at having fun.

I would like to meet someone who knows how to handle herself; she's feminine, but doesn't mind getting her hands dirty at times; someone who likes to cook and loves to cuddle; someone who likes people, but also likes her alone time too.
