I consider myself optimistic, ambitious, outgoing and warm, and am looking for the same. I have dated for fun, been in serious relationships, and also spent long stretches of time happily alone. I have always parted as friends with my exes, and I really do believe that relationships should only enhance your life.
I think what I need is a woman who is also a womans man. Someone who likes to treat her partner well, knowing she will get the same in return. Someone whose posture says something about her purpose and her self-perception. But then again, you never know who will make your heart jump. Chemistry is important, common values are helpful, and mutual respect is essential. But I also like to lend an ear, share my perspective and bat my eyelashes at my partner. I am as modern as they come, but I believe that I should hold open the door for the woman, think she look cute even when her hair is ruined by the rain, and tell her the truth even if she might not like it.
