Hello, I'm a grade school teacher in northern CA. I am very lucky to be working with some of the best people in the educational field. I live and work in CA, but I have family roots in Arkansas as well. I am a Razorback fan thru and thru. I would love to eventually go back to that area when I retire. It seems as if life is much more kicked back in the south,people are always willing to give you a helping hand,and they still live by the golden rule. For the time being, I live in Northern CA. My home is on the side of a mountain, up in the Sierras. There is something quite magical when you live in the woods, each season holds different forms of beauty. I enjoy seeing a deer running thru the yard and even the skunk who eats my cats food at night, knows I'm not going to harm it, knock on wood! Yes,I've even seen bears nearby and mountain lions roam the area. I guess it's the country girl in me, that finds the peace and solitude such a joy. There is nothing prettier than the land, when its covered with snow, I love how it sparkles, it is so beautiful. It's as if all the world was asleep under the blanket of snow,it's so peaceful. I love the spring awakening, when wild flowers pop up and animals, once again, playfully scamper with each other, in celebration they have survived the winter.
I'm a single mother with two sons who are my loves of my life. I am actively involved in the youngest sons sporting activities, be it football,wrestling,or baseball. I can usually be found cheering him on when he is participating. I am pretty busy, even though I feel like that duck on the pond who appears so calm and swims so effortlessly on the surface, but is paddling like crazy under the water.
