I'm a complex multi-faceted person. The arts and my family are an important part of my life and they bring me immense joy.
I love traveling and have been to many different places and have met many wonderful people.
The first things I notice about people is their smile and eyes. They tell a lot about the person. If I see someone not smiling I try to make eye contact with them, and as corny as this sounds, I give them one of my smiles. Usually it works!
We all have a bit of insecurity from time to time, but try not to let it rule your life. Making up quizzes to fish for "hits" and feeding your insecurities tends to bore most people. I know it does me.
I've been many places and seen many things. Born & raised in NY. Moved from there to MT, to FL, to NC...soon to return to FL. Been many different places in this work including Iceland. And yes it's cold.

Great date-hmmm, there is no such animal that you could pinpoint because situations differ from person to person amd from moment to moment. You just have to wing it. There is no sense is setting yourself up for disappointment by planning something down to the letter.
I am somewhat independent, however I love being a woman and treated like one. In turn I believe a man should be treated like a man, and that's a man, not a king. Respect is what it's all about in other words. Two people CAN agree to disagree and have to comprehend that they are not going to agree on everything. You just have to respect the other person's right to disagree. I could stipulate the superficial things, but the above it all it's about really. Trust is paramount in every aspect of life, while it is implied in most if not all areas, there is a certain amount that must be earned nowadays. Along with trust is his brother Honesty. While this doesn't describe a date, it may help to describe the ambience. |

I would love to find a man who is happy with himself and independent, not negative.
Please don't spend the entire time if we should meet running down your ex, your kids, or telling me how you want me to be by telling me what I am allowed or not allowed to do while in your magnificent presence. I don't mean to make that sound arrogant, but if you continue with that kind of attitude I will not be the only one telling you to take a hike. If you take this attitude this is probably why you are alone. Also please I am asking that you not be "needy" and be like a puppy who needs to have his head patted all the time. I already have a puppy and am not looking for another.
Someone who loves having fun would be nice, has a nice sincere smile and laugh, someone reasonably tall, strong convictions, honest, sincere, and please leave the games at home. If I wanted to play games I'd invite you over for Monopoly.
Please have respect for yourself, your family, your heritage, faith, convictions, and life in general. We only go around once. And life is short and way too important to be taken seriously.
