I am excited about this life journey. It may not be what I expected. But I determine how I enjoy everyday. I can’t just live for the weekend. Life is too short to waste 5 days a week, anticipating 2. I like staying active: cycling, tennis and golf to name a few. I work out about 3 times a week at a gym. I use to go 5 days, but the contract I have now doesn’t allow such a luxury.
I just started riding trails at Bur-Mil Park and I loved it. It's so secluded and peaceful. I have to admit, I was a little nervous the first time. It took two hours and I only saw one guy going in the opposite direction. Well, I’m ready to go again now that's conquered - Me, He Man! I really would love a partner to play tennis. I started about 2yrs ago and I can’t get enough.
I usually play golf with a couple of guys that don’t take it too serious. Why waste a beautiful day stressing out about a shot. I like most outdoor activities. But I would not object to going with someone special.
On a different side, I enjoy playing the piano, writing and recording music. This is a great escape from software engineering. I love a good movie (not just action flicks) or a romantic dinner - did I say I can cook? I’m able to do most things well… except maybe canoeing; another story I’ll tell later. But I want to participate in life and not watch it go by.
I have two sons away at college and a 6-3/4 yr old daughter who's with me every other week. I know - the 3/4s is important to her. I love my children very much. My week with my daughter is very hectic with dance classes, skate nights, play dates and homework. But I would like to enjoy the rest of my time with someone special. Maybe this would be a good place to start.
