If you're on a cruise ship out at sea and took a stroll with your honey onto the deck as a brilliant sun was setting and a warm, gentle breeze was blowing, it would be easy to appreciate the joys of love against the backdrop of a vast expanse of water and endless blue sky. Nice thought, but...there is..no honey! Yet..
A lot of water has passed under the bridge, and I'm at a stage where the trend is away from high-octane, taking stock more often, and savoring the joys of life, but...despite the road in the rear view mirror, the boy in me loves to come out and play. I can enjoy a brisk walk, a lively discussion, a savory meal, a drive along the coast, or a riveting movie, provided present company is engaging. Wait..there's more! Ahh, but if I told you everything there would be no mysteries to fathom...no pleasant surprises in store.....
A recent study found that men are more likely to give priority to romantic relationships over achievement goals than are women, and with that in mind I'll keep on plowing and watering, and look for trust and friendship to blossom.
Let's take a ride and enjoy life's little pleasures and experiences.
