I am a software engineer by profession, and a part-time musician through wishful thinking. I am divorced, and have two kids who have top priority. My date and I stop at a convenience store just in time to purchase two winning lottery tickets, then spend the rest of the night discussing how to spend it over drinks.
All seriousness aside, I think conversation - light and fun for starters - is the best first date. It doesn't matter too much what we do as long as we can talk. Shoot pool, dinner and drinks, coffee, a hike, museum, robbing a quiet liquor store, etc. are all great conversation dates. A movie, loud concert, loud dance club, cult meditation, or a visit to a library would be examples of bad choices. Just my opinion =^) |
