I use to have a lot of foo-foo and frills here but nobody reads much. Bottom line is, I'm a widow with a small child. That translates to a full time responsibility. I've learned that when someone says "I know it's a package deal", that does not translate into a full understanding of what that really means. So my hearing after 3 years 'there are things I want to do that I know you can't do and I fully understand why you cant, so we won't be any more than we are now' just doesn't do it for me. I'm not looking for a dating partner, a drinking buddy or a friend with benefits. I'm looking for a long term committed partner.

I started to change all this but since it's the truth I left it as is.....
Looking for someone honest, with good values, and realizes kids are our greatest gift. I have a little girl that needs someone who will show a genuine interest with a relaxed response. A guy on this site told me nobody in their 40's or 50's wanted to be "daddy" and raising some other mans child. Just to make it clear, I raise her, just don't expect to ignore she's here like the last guy. Someone who is not afraid to express himself. Relaxed socially, emotionally stable, is comfortable with who they are and knows what they want. Talking and communication is very important. Someone who can enjoy sitting close or being out doing things together, no matter what it may be. We're very active so no couch-potatos please. Can laugh and smile, especially at themselves, you'll need good humor around me. And at least a couple of romantic bones in their body would be nice. |
