| Spiritual (not in the normal sense of the word) AGNOSTIC, pacifist, socialist, egalitarian, a proponent of voluntary simplicity ('living simply so that others may simply live'), and pretty much of a loner. I am intelligent, inquisitive, gentle and kind, honest, open and communicative, an avid reader and quick learner; neat, clean, and orderly but not anal about germs, dust, cobwebs, and the like; eco- and health- conscious but not 'fanatical' about either; into simple, natural, organic foods & herbs, and most everything alternative; and a lover of the natural world. I strive for moderation and balance. I have spent my entire adult life collecting tools and the knowledge to use them, and have a diversity of skills that would complement any homestead/'back to the land' type living situation. | (continuued from above) I have always tried to live my life in such a way as to put the needs of the 'many' ahead of the 'few', the 'other' ahead of the 'self'. I am a giver at heart -- not a taker. I live simply but I am not simple minded! I have great disdain for society's egocentric "runaway consumerism" and "throw away" mentality, yet I am far from being devoid of possessions. However, my possessions were for the most part acquired gently, over a lifetime, and maintained to last. I try to tread softly and leave as small a footprint as possible no matter where I go or what I do, and that means balancing every action I take with how it affects both this planet and ALL of its inhabitants. I have my share of faults, maybe more, but I also have a heart of gold! So where are you? |

| I am looking for a like minded lady to 'share' life -- both the good and the bad. I envision an ageless hippy/flower child type who never sold out to the system and never will. You follow the path you have chosen regardless of the personal cost! I could care less how much 'stuff' you do or do not have. You could be unemployed and homeless! I do care about what is in your heart. "Is the money you make worth the price that you pay?" You are non-religious, a pacifist (hopefully out of the closet), non-materialistic, unpretentious, intelligent, relatively fit naturally or at least striving to be so (not a fitness freak but not grossly overweight either), reasonably attractive to me (I prefer a more natural look and certainly not the Barbie Doll mentality), and you definitely still have a fire burning inside. |

| Race is not an issue, nor is smoking (I finally quit Sept 2001) or anything else you might do assuming you are considerate of those around you and practice moderation, 'formal' education, employment, income, social status, your past, or any of the other 'normal' criteria. Hopefully we will complement each other in most areas and tolerate each other in the rest! I have been a home owner for over 30 years (not all one place) but I am seriously considering relocating. This could be to your place, or we could embark on a new adventure together. If this sounds anything at all like you -- lets talk!
