I'm an interesting mix of ambitious and laid back. Very rarely will you ever find me unhappy, yet I'm logical and somewhat careful about what I get myself into. There are times when I wish I lived a more exciting life, but then I remember that my life right here is pretty damn riveting.
I'm a student, but besides the strict classroom sense of an education, I love learning everything I can about life in general. There are too many things that pique my interest to pin them down into one conversation.
I'm terribly spontaneous- it gets me into trouble because I'm so busy with previously scheduled stuff. But when summer rolls around, you'll find me anywhere and everywhere. Some days I enjoy a walk to the dog park with my pooch (who, by the way is a great judge of character- good luck!), some I'm sitting in a classroom, but others.... I'm up and away hiking on the Superior trail, kayaking, canoeing, visiting random landmarks, driving with the windows down, taking a stroll through the woods, or even diving into my favorite secret waterhole.
It's those other days that I live for.
I'm currently in New Zealand until May 18th, traveling around, working, and studying. It doesn't get any better...

| Dinner and a movie is ok, but it's surely not as thoughtful as a walk through my favorite nature preserve and then someplace quiet where we can make each other laugh and act like fools without feeling like it. | It's very important to me to find someone kind, but fun. I'm witty and sarcastic at my best, and I'd love someone who could keep up with that and repay me for a little good-hearted teasing. I need to not have to type/constantly say "I'm just kidding". They need to understand my humor. An intellectual person is also something I'd like, someone I can sit down and have a conversation with about anything and know that it would actually go somewhere. I'm looking to date my best friend, not just 'some guy'. I would hope this person was a college student so they understood my lifestyle, and I hope you have ambition, because I'm not a fan of people who sit idle day after day, playing video games.
