Like poetry, especially Poe, and McKuen. Love puppies and teddy bears. I am a very good swimmer and enjoy swimming in saltwater, especially the ocean. The Gulf is okay, but really love the wildness of the Atlantic where I can lie on the shore, let the waves crash over me, carry me out and back, and dig for sand fleas. IFavorite movies are about the wars in WWII, Korea and Nam. Favorite TV shows are CSI-LV, and Law and Order.

Recently adopted a 2-year-old Lab/Retriever from the Humane Society. Boy, does she like to chew. So far, it has been shoes, and venetian blinds. :)
I am a caretaker for a brother who has Alzheimer's with short-term memory loss. He lives ten miles from me, but I do a lot for him.
