| I had one of the guys I work with over to my house, and he called me a real Renaissance man. At work I'm the manager of an art department and a graphic designer and photographer. There I have my high pressure deadline serious side and my joking around playing practical jokes or else I'd go insane side. At home I'm an artist (influenced by Surrealism), an electrician, a carpenter, plumber, singer, philosopher, computer geek and more all rolled up into one. I love loud music, fast cars, spicey and ethnic food, the deep woods, canoeing, target shooting, politics, being kinky, foreign films, African drumming, flavored martinis and intellectual conversations. I'm good at alot of things but one thing I'm not is meeting people in public. I'm confident at work or if you saw me out singing (screaming) Metallica for karaoke you probably wouldn't think I'm shy, but unfortunately I am when it comes to meeting women out in public and it has always been my major downfall. I've heard some guys think they're great catches for never having been married nor having kids by their late 30's. Personally, I don't and feel I've just looked for love in all the wrong places. | A great date to me is mainly any setting where I can have a nice close conversation with someone. I love movies and theater, but not on a first date. I want to spend time getting to know my date. | What I want, what I need, is someone that's not only passionate and fun loving but intellectually challenging too. That wants a family someday, and down to earth and appreciates the simple things in life. Someone unpretentious, considerate and genuine with common interests. It's kind of hard to say what physical characteristics I'm attracted to. I'm more attracted to the total sum of the person, but mostly attracted to someone thin to average, not large at all. Someone artistic or creative would be nice, and with a love of the arts. If you have a child that's ok, but I'd like to have one of my own someday. Nothing's set in stone and it's always about chemistry. You must also love cats though. I love them and had one for a long time til just recently. I want someone to go out with me to a fine restaurant and show one night, and throw on the hiking boots and hit the trail the next day. Is that you?
