Me and my Ideal match,
I lead a busy life and enjoy every minute of it. Right now, I split my time between my house overlooking beautiful Kaneohe Bay in HI and my apartment in NYC and I am looking for someone who sees that as a plus (surprisingly to me, not everyone does).
Someone recently asked me if I ever get bored and my response without hesitation was “no.” I love both my private time and my time with friends and life is constantly throwing me unexpected challenges. I consider myself a story teller at heart (whether you like my stories or not is another question :p ) and all of life can contribute to a good story, so what’s to get bored about?
While it might seem as though I’m a bit tough to pin down, I love the contrast of the two worlds. It takes me a couple of days to adjust on either side :-) My Hawaii time is mostly about experiencing the outdoors (surfing, hiking, swimming, borrowing a neighbors dog to run on the beach, etc.) and my New York time is about theater, museum, nightclubs, etc.
I kind of like this duality, but it has worked against me as well. I think some people are afraid that I’m aloof, since I'm always away traveling. But my friends (and business associates) know that nothing could be further from the truth. I’m an amazingly consistent and reliable person. Always there in a crisis, never flustered in an emergency. Both my work and my life have demanded it.
