| I am 45 years old and have been divorced since 1998. I am a caring and passionate person who enjoys helping others. I do not play games and am not into games either. I am a Christian and believe that God has a plan for all of us. I have a BS in Human Services Management and am beginning my Masters in Psychology. I work for the Department of Family Protective Services, investigating abuse and neglect of children. It's for these little ones that are so precious and such a gift that I will spend my life protecting. I feel this is the path that God has led me and will pray every day for the strength and wisdom to protect kids from harm. I am so very proud of my daughter, she is celebrating her fifth year clean of drugs. She's in school and doing very well. She asked me several years ago what I wanted for mother's day and I told her that she's given me the best mother's day gift a mom could ever have....getting their child back from drugs. Now she desires to help those who desire to recover from drugs as well....she'll go far and do very well. I am an animal lover and have more animals than I probably need, but I wouldn't give a plug nickel for any of them. They have been great companions over the years and they are my "children". I do not have grandchildren, but I have grand-animals who come to visit Grammy and play with my dogs. I hope to meet someone who is a caring person and enjoys animals as much as I do. I hope he will enjoy quiet nights at home watching a movie or going out for dinner. I enjoy cooking, but it's not much fun to cook for one. I am at peace being by myself, but if God should bring someone into my life, I'll be open to getting to know him. |

I am looking for someone who will not try to squash my spirit that I have worked hard to rebuild after my divorce. He must understand that my job often requires long hours if a child is in harms way or if I have to work late to provide a safe place for a child.
