I am the support rep for a web-based circuit design tool. I have primary responsibility for the tool, and I enjoy the sense of ownership. It makes it difficult for me to take more than a day or two off work at a time, but the flip side of that is that I know the tool and my daily responsibilities so well that the job is now essentially a 9 to 5, with little to no overtime.
My employers and co-workers respect and appreciate my competence and expertise, so I enjoy that. |
