I am here to express myself and read the thoughts and ideas of others. I am interested in exchanges with those who can give me new perspectives or with whom I can share my opinions. I think that this journey through life requires individual choices and directions, but that the trip as a whole is a group endeavor.
That said, I am also in the process of searching for a loving man who can support my goals, dreams and beliefs and whose goals, dreams and beliefs I can support: one who is available to spend time with me not only online but in person and one who is available -- lawfully and emotionally -- for marriage. (I remain open to other relationships however.)
My blog tells a great deal about me. I have posted a guide to make it easier to decide which of them might interest you and to facilitate finding a particular topic. Indicating you have read some of my blog and found connecting points will be a sure way to tell me of your genuine interest -- and will likely generate my interest.
I have an insatiable curiosity. I like to explore, but I am not a mind-reader (at least not on a reliable basis) so I like to know what kind of relationship you are seeking (i.e. friendship, marriage etc.) and putting that into the subject line of your initial contact is much appreciated.
I enjoy art, opera and classical music, outdoor activities, including sailing and backpacking, massage and astrology. Most of all, I enjoy great conversation accompanied by great food. |

I would like to find a partner -- someone like my father, with whom I spent many hours as a child. He was a farmer and I assisted him in vehicle and machinery repair, in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing and remodeling, in milking and raising livestock, in growing and harvesting food and crops. We spent time talking and laughing and listening and discussing. We loved and respected one another. I was happy to follow his leadership, he was appreciative of my help and often of my advice and creativity.
Apart from my father, I have studied accounting, tax law, biophysical sciences, nutrition and health, massage, real estate, faux finishing, drawing and watercolor, silver jewelry making and beading, knitting, sewing, NLP and firefighting. (I probably have forgotten some other things.) |

He is intelligent, communicative, passionate, attractive...perhaps very much like that man I traveled to see in my "Love's Many Dimensions" series in my blog.
I find myself attracted to many and varied people for many and varied reasons. With some, the interaction may be short and sweet; with others the relationship may endure even without a face or voice. I desire that one will emerge as a mutually satisfying life partner, but until then, I would like to find joy in seeing the best in all those I touch and offering appreciation for the unique gifts that lie within each.
