So...I feel like being frank...
I think there are three reasons to use online dating sites:
1. You're too busy to get yourself out there
2. You're too shy to get yourself out there
3. You're too addicted to the computer to leave your house
I fall into category number one. Which one are you? I am an older college student and I don't often have many opportunities to associate with those outside my social sphere. I'm at the point in my life where I actually do want to meet new people that are mature and goal-oriented (and have lived past the age of 21)...
So anyway...I am a full-time college student majoring in Special Education. I love working with children and other professionals.
I'm one of those people who could be content just about anywhere...I love being around friends and meeting new people, too. When I'm not in school, I love to read anything NOT in the form of a textbook. It usually takes me about three days to watch a movie but I love them anyway. When I am inspired and have the time (which is rare!!!), I enjoy sitting at the piano and writing music. On the weekends I am compelled to spend a lot of time outside (especially in the mountains!!!). One of my favorite things to do is talk over food with my friends until the restaurant managers kick us out. I enjoy connecting with people that are positive and love the simple joys of life. I am an independent woman and I like who I am...I'm worth getting to know...but whether you take the opportunity or not, that's your prerogative. Even though I'm very busy with work and school, I take advantage of my free time on the weekends and go do something fun...People describe me as a good listener, a deep and profound thinker, and a dreamer. I love to travel and get out and explore whenever I can. Christianity/Spirituality is important to me, but I must say to each their own... |
