Reading is my greatest passion. I enjoy a variety of subjects, and have favorite authors I have followed for years. Discovering the forums on this site opened a whole new reading avenue full of great authors. They provide hours of entertainment and pose so many different ways to view a subject.
I attempted retirement....and didn't like it. I like to work, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and fullfillment. My current job is very exacting and physical. I get to work out every day....and get paid for it!!! I think that learning new things is exciting, and this job is the polar opposite of of banking. No more suits and pantyhose...it's blue jeans and work boots.
I get great pleasure from the world around me. A full moon, and the path it can make across Lake Michigan. I yearn to walk it. The blaze
of colors in a setting or rising sun. A child's laughter across a park or in a store. The rumble of a sports car downshifting. IMO..joy surrounds me, I take the time to notice it. |
